The final piece of the puzzle is the Lead Butler role and all the changes should now make this property one of the best in London to work in. We have placed a new permanent Housekeeper and a Senior Housekeeper there. Both have impeccable, top end backgrounds and are two of the nicest ladies you could wish to meet.
Female Lead Butler with an UHNW residence, yacht or 5* hotel background. You must be experienced, polished, well-presented and able to work within a small permanent team, and to manage and train the temporary butler team (6-8 people) hired for each family visit.
General duties/responsibilities include -
- Responsible for and organise the day to day Butler function at the property
- Develop the temp. Butler team training programme with guidance from the House Manager
- Train and lead the temp. Butler team, ensure they are ready and equipped to deliver expectional service
- In collaboration with the HM, organise Butler rotas, aligning with other household departments
- Provide informal and formal service to family and guests using the preferred technique
- Liaise with the Head Chef
- Responsible for organisation and cleanliness of the Butler pantries
- Care of silverware, serveware, fine porcelain and crystal. Ensure use of correct products and cleaning techniques
- Maintain full pantry stock levels. Ensure ample lead time for orders, liaise with HM as required
- Maintain and update serviceware inventories and conduct regular inventory checks. Report any damaged or missing items
- Greet and welcome family, guests and visitors
- Assist with wardrobe management and organisation per client requirements and preferences; pack/unpack for travel
- Work with the HM to develop and maintain the house manual with focus on family preferences and service delivery
- Work with the HM and Head Chef to develop, maintain and keep updated family preferences records
- Responsible for purchasing preferred toiletries, products and supplies
- Monitor for maintenance and repair issues and immediately report to HM
- Respond to and deal with family requests, ensure requests are completed in a timely, efficient manner
- General assistance to the HM and you will be first point of contact in the HM's absence.

Due to an expanding property portfolio, this European Principal is seeking a travelling House Manager and household/staff coordinator. This is a newly created role and you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of multiple residences, staff (housekeepers) and vehicles across various international locations. Length of stay at each location varies and changes, from a week or 2 up to several weeks. Informal but professional environment with a nice Principal; there is a good family atmosphere and no drama!
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on House Manager, highly organised, proactive, astute, multi-tasking, able to think ahead and pre-empt problems, and of course an enjoyment of traveling and working in varying locations. Although the role will initially involve the UAE and Seychelles, it is envisioned that a second House Manager (who will report to you) will be hired later on to be responsible for the UAE and Seychelles locations, leaving you hands-on managing and traveling to the UK/EU properties whilst overseeing this HM and other locations.
- Manage, coordinate and organise staff at all locations, including rosters, vacation schedules etc. Ensure equality of treatment and consistent high standards.

The Housekeepers work on a shift system generally 7.30am-3.30 pm or 12-8pm with either Thurs/Fri off or Sat/Sun off - on alternate weekly rotation. Weekend days are generally 9-5 pm. When there is a full house (about 4 months of the year total), there will be 3 daily shifts - early, afternoon and late - and everyone works 6 days per week, with the extra day banked and taken as time in lieu. Extra temporary staff are employed and a taxi home provided when on late shift. When the residence is empty it's M-F normal daily hours.

UHNW family of 5 are looking for a full-time Housekeeper with prior experience in high-end residences; able to raise the current housekeeping standards to a high level and work with attention to detail. There is a part-time Housekeeper who works mornings. The Principals are highly successful professionals who work outside the home and have 3 teenage children.
Duties include
- All housekeeping, laundry and ironing to high standards
- Wardrobe management for all family members
- Sweep and tidy front and back patios
- Clean and care for high end fixtures and fittings including marble, brass and fine furniture
- Purchase and maintain household flowers and indoor/outdoor plants
- Weekly online shop, local shopping/daily top ups
- Maintain stocks of household items
- Answer door and phone, take messages, manage deliveries
- Check for any needed repairs and maintenance
- Oversee contractors and trades, liaising with office PA and family
- Cook healthy normal family meals - mainly dinner for the children, no allergy or special diets

Senior Housekeeper required for VVIP familty in part time residence. Great job for an experienced UHNW residence Housekeeper to run all the back of house functions including staff recruitment, training, supervision, rotas etc. This is also a hands-on role where you will be cleaning alongside your small team of Housekepers, particularly when the family are not in residence.
We are looking for those who will enjoy implementing and maintaining top standards of housekeeping and presentation etc, ensuring these standards are maintained at all times, as one or more of the family members could arrive at short notice occasionally. Also laundry, ironing, wardrobe management, organisation, pack/unpack. Good knowledge of caring for fine interiors including fittings, fixtures, artworks, etc.

The residence is a modern property, 6.5K sq ft over 6 floors and there is a lift. Modern interior and all bedrooms are en-suite. When the family are in residence you will be supported by a cleaning company who will come in 2-3 times per week to deep clean. It is essential you are self-motivated and proactive to keep the residence well-maintained when the family are away, as well as being comfortable working mainly solo during their absence.
The family visit the UK 3 or 4 times per year and could be here for up to 2+ months at a time. During school term time when in the UK, they will be in London during the week and spend weekends at their country home outside of London. Other household staff include a Chef, Nanny and a Housekeeper placed by us 5 years ago. The Nanny has also been there for 5 years, so very good staff longevity. The Chef and Nanny move between properties with the family and the other Housekeeper works at the country property, but will attend the London property occasionally. This is a first time permanent Housekeeper hire for their London residence.
Informal property and family. It is a very low key environment, so essential to master the art of knowing when to be visible and when to melt away. Family have 2-3 small dogs.

You must be London based. For 7-8 months of the year you will work a rota of 2 weeks on standby/2 weeks off. During peak family travel times (June, July, August,December) the team works 6 days per week. Shifts are either 7am-5pm or 11am-9pm. When outside of London all accommodation, food and travel expenses are covered. You must always be available during your standby weeks, and should you be called to work, shifts will be 7am-7 pm for the duration of your standby period or only until the client leaves, if this is earlier.

Lovely family (returning client) seeking an additional Housekeeper to join their small team. We placed the House Manager and one of the Housekeepers last year and both are very happy in their employment.
This is a large, newly constructed residence. Your role will encompass all housekeeping and laundry, working alongside the other 2 Housekeepers. The House Manager cooks dinner for this professional family (2-3 adults). We are either looking for a HK/Cook who could prepare dinner a couple of days per week, OR on 2 days per week the House Manager will prepare dinner and you can heat it up and prepare some veg or salad. The family enjoy normal family meals with a range of British and European cuisines, and very occasionally some Indian food.
Candidates need to be fit, energetic and strong as it is a large property. Previous experience in residences or hotels desirable, and full or further for those with a desire to learn and upskill.

This extremely nice family are seeking an energetic, strong individual to assist with interior and exterior duties at a large newly built property in Bucks. We placed the House Manager and a Housekeeper there last year who are very happy in their employment.
We are looking for a responsible person willing to undertake a variety of duties including, but not limited to:-
- Vehicle cleaning
- Outside maintenance e.g. cleaning gutters, leaf blowing, keeping terraces and patios clean and tidy etc
- Assist the Housekeepers with interior maintenance/cleaning – turning mattresses, vacuuming and heavier tasks
- Shopping
- Very occasional driving to/from airport
Seeking a permanent female Chef. Easy role for a large part of the year cooking international cuisine for 2 young adults in staffed home. Must have some Middle Eastern cuisine expereince, but you don't need to be an expert in it.
For around 8-9 months of the year it's 5 day week, working 8 am to 3 pm. Days off are Sundays and a mid week day (they are flexible on which day). Breakfast, lunch and prepare dinner and leave in fridge.
When the main Principals are in residence about 3-4 months of the year it will be full, longer days and all staff work 6 days per week during these visits, with days off taken in lieu after the Principals have departed.
Candidates should be creative, have an understanding of nutrition, plan menus, knowledge of local suppliers, account management and of course, be flexible when needed.
