A super new role for an established, career Housekeeper. The Properties Manager (a wonderful gentleman) tells me this is the nicest family he has ever worked for. The family are in part-time residence, anticipated to be approximately 50% of the year. This is a hands-on housekeeping role, coupled with the responsibility for all aspects of daily running and smooth operation of the home.
The property is a Grade I listed town house in the end stages of a complete renovation and restoration. It is a heritage property and some aspects including materials and finishes, will require special care. Proper training in the care and running of this property will be given to the successful candidate – an excellent opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge. You must be able and willing to precisely follow the instructions for aspects requiring special care. The residence runs over 4 floors, with 5 bedrooms and 2 reception rooms. Interiors are a mix of modern and heritage.
The UHNW family have 3 children, 2 of whom are at boarding school. They are kind, low key, grounded and humble. They neither want nor need a lot of staff. We are looking for superb candidates happy to be the sole Housekeeper and capable of and responsible for the daily running and operation of the residence. We expect temporary staff may need to be brought in to assist during family visits.
