Good role for a female Private Chef, family are very nice to work for. Cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner for 1-2 young adults for most of the year – healthy mostly European cuisine. The main family visit for a total of about 12 weeks each year. These visits will be busy with at least 10 people staying in the house. Other household staff employed and it is a friendly, supportive team.
You should have good knowledge of nutrition. When the family are in residence, lunch and dinner are served as buffets – you leave the food in the warmers and the family help themselves when they are ready to eat. Daily afternoon tea is required. They enjoy a wide variety of cuisines – international, Indian, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern. If you have previous experience with Middle Eastern cuisine great, but not a problem if not, as long as you are happy to follow a recipe.
This is a permanent role with an ASAP start. 6 days per week, 8 am to 5 pm, with longer hours when the whole family is in residence. There will also be quieter times e.g an early finish if the family are eating dinner out, as well a periods when nobody is in residence.
