Seeking a permanent female Chef.  Easy role for a large part of the year cooking international cuisine for 2 young adults in staffed home. Must have some Middle Eastern cuisine expereince, but you don’t need to be an expert in it.

For around 8-9 months of the year it’s 5 day week, working 8 am to 3 pm. Days off are Sundays and a mid week day (they are flexible on which day). Breakfast, lunch and prepare dinner and leave in fridge.

When the main Principals are in residence about 3-4 months of the year it will be full, longer days and all staff work 6 days per week during these visits, with days off taken in lieu after the Principals have departed.

Candidates should be creative, have an understanding of nutrition, plan menus, knowledge of local suppliers, account management and of course, be flexible when needed.

Good role for an experienced, hands-on Head Housekeeper for this large property with a VVIP family in part-time residence. 2 young adults are in resdience most of the year and the wider family visit a few times per year.  The position reports to the House Manager.

You will oversee all aspects of the housekeeping, ensuring the residence is maintained to high standards at all times. Supervision of 1-2 permanent Housekeepers and also temporary Housekeepers during visits.

Strong housekeeping background required from UHNW residences, private yachts or luxury hotels. Naturally, strong attention to detail and absolute confidentiality is paramount, as is a good knowledge of housekeeping and the care of high-end interiors. Assist the House Manager to ensure a smooth functioning, immaculate home and cover for her during her absence. Candidates should have excellent previous experience, be fluent in English and with good communication skills and have a service orientated, friendly, positive personality.

5 day week with Friday and Saturday off.  6 day week during visits with banked days off taken as time in lieu after a visit.  The team work on a shift rota basis, either 8 am to 5 pm or 12 noon to 8 pm.

Seeking polished, ultra-discreet, proactive, energetic, detail-oriented, hands-on House Manager, able to anticipate and identify needs and provide exceptional service. You will be able to support the Principal, whilst developing a professional camaraderie fitting of a warm, active, informal household.  Female candidates only due to nature of some duties.

The role is to be responsible for the day-to-day management and running of a small London residence, which includes being fully hands-on in all areas and working in conjunction with the Assistant House Manager (whom we are also recruiting, along with a Private PA) to undertake all interior/exterior care and maintenance. Supervision of a small team (1-2 others currently), liaising with overseas properties/staff and ensure consistency of standards, procedures and services.  A concierge style attitude and absolute discretion are key to this role.

Other responsibilites include, but not limited to –

• Supervise and co-ordinate onsite activities and day-to-day direction of onsite staff.
• Set the service standards for the property and staff.
• Manage staff, schedules and rotas and HR activities. Recruit, train, mentor and coach staff
• Manage budget, household account, invoice payments etc. Submit recreipts and reports/records to office
• Source and manage all contractors, vendors, trades, quotes and costings
• Supervise any renovation projects, track works, progress and costing.
• Both the HM and Assistant HM will be responsible for the care/cleaning of the property and cooking when the Principal is in residence. Healthy organic meals (and occasionally a small number of guests if required). The cooking is not difficult e.g. breakfast smoothie, lunch of soup, salad, crudité, dinner is a protein and veg or salad.
• Work in conjunction with overseas staff to ensure seamless transition for Principal between properties.
• Maintain and update household manuals and inventories.
• Point of contact and gatekeeper.
• Other responsibilities include seasonal routines, packages and deliveries, some diary management and cover of Private PA’s duties when she is on holiday
• Demonstrate high end design sensibilities and appreciation of aesthetic quality, knowledge of caring for fine interiors
• Travel with/to Principal when required up to 12 weeks total per year to various destinations (on rota with other staff). Pack/unpack, create a seamless ‘home from home’ experience when staying in hotels
• Plan, organise and manage events – dinners for 6-8 guests, cocktail receptions 15-20 guests, social and work events.
• Correspondence/ representation for Principal if required.

Reporting to the House Manager, the role is to aid the HM with the day-to-day management of this small London residence, and together undertake the care and maintenance of the interior, exterior, contents, furnishings, art works, collectibles etc. Also, supervision of any part-time staff and booking personal appointments for the Principal.

We are seeking warm, friendly, proactive, organised, detail-oriented individuals, who have a positive, can-do attitude, exceptional service delivery and ability to maintain absolute discretion.

Duties include, but not limited to –

• Aid the House Manager with the day-to-day running of the London Property, including care and maintenance of the Interior and exterior.
• Help oversee and co-ordinate any contractors.
• Food shopping, and in conjunction with the House Manager prepare and cook for the Principal when in residence. The cooking is simple – smoothie for breakfast, soup, salad etc. for lunch and a healthy 1 course dinner of protein with veg or salad.

• Help to maintain and update household manuals and inventories.

• Ensure relevant materials for meetings are received, re-sized, proofread, printed and presented to Principal in advance.
• Book personal appointments, run any ad hoc errands.
• Travel with the Principal up to 12 weeks total per year (multiple destinations and on a rota system with other staff) to offer assistance for both business and leisure trips. Aim to create a seamless “home from home” experience whilst staying in hotels.

All daily meals – breakfast, lunch and dinner. 8 am to 5/6 pm (tbc).  Lunch is the main meal and you will prepare an evening meal and leave in the fridge. There will be busier times when guests are staying and dinner will need to be freshly cooked, so a later finish on these occasions.

5 bed property in Mayfair for UHNW overseas family.  Renovations just completed and we’ve been asked to recruit a House Manager and Housekeeper.  Good job enabling you to have a work/life balance.

The property is over several floors  and includes a commercial kitchen, media room and swimming pool.  There is an adjacent mews house which may be used for staff.  You’ll  be tasked with completing set-up, implementing polices, procedures, manuals, inventories etc and ensuring the residence runs smoothly and is maintained to top standards at all times.  This is a new client and we are awaiting further information, including on staff that may travel with the family, but recruitment is being conducted now with immediate interviews and start.  The family will likely visit a few times per year.

The Maintenance Lead is a newly created role reporting to the Head of Maintenance and deputising in his absence. You will oversee the consistent, effective application of all maintenance processes, procedures, reporting and compliance for the global property portfolio.  They will be an occasional travel requirement – short trips to properties in Europe.

 

• Ensure effective planned and preventative maintenance programme is in place for all properties, oversee repairs, renovations etc. Submit monthly reports on planned and unplanned maintenance and repairs
• Develop and implement robust monthly report to provide the Operations Management Team with information enabling them to effectively operate the global portfolio.
• Oversee, document and supervise regular inspections and maintenance of all plant and other equipment (including kitchen, electrical, mechanical, internal building fabrics) including contractor visits.
• Review and negotiate maintenance agreements and contracts, ensure maximum value for clients in cost, service and quality
• Develop and present proposals for improvements, highlight opportunities/risks/ issues
• Assist with procurement of plant, equipment and ancillary items for seasonal projects, obtain quotes, tenders, specifications/proposals as required. Submit monthly reports.
• Develop supply chain and preferred contractors for high quality, timely resolution of unplanned maintenance, establish contracts where required to ensure priority resolution.
• Ensure any exterior/interior damage is properly reported and investigated if required to determine cause. Recommend actions to prevent recurrence.
• Direct & manage the maintenance manager to achieve the highest possible standards at all properties.
• Mentor and support technical development of colleagues across the Company
• Compliance – ensure implementation/adherence for all statutory, regulatory and other polices relating to maintenance. Monitor, risk assess, manage Health & Safety and technical compliance, investigate if any failures occur.
